Ardossan
Ardrossan is located approximately 150km from Adelaide on the eastern coast of Yorke Peninsula, centrally located for day trips around the Peninsula. A popular holiday destination with safe beaches, jetty, fishing and crabbing.
Port Vincent
A major seaside holiday destination on the Gulf of St Vincent Port Vincent is Yorke Peninsula’s centre of yachting and sailing. It boasts a fantastic aquatic centre with plenty of water activities on offer. Port Vincent is a great place to visit and hosts a wonderful New Years Day ‘Gala Day’.
Stansbury
With a tree lined foreshore, a magnificent playground and boat launching facilities, Stansbury is a prime seaside retreat. The beach is great for kids with thousands of family holidays having been enjoyed here over the years. A must visit destination with a great tourist information centre.
Wool Bay
Magnificent cliff top views await you at the quiet seaside town of Wool Bay, which was once a major grain and wool port. It features the historic Lime Kiln Ruin which is definitely worth a look. The beach is one of the safest for young children and the jetty offers some great fishing enjoyed by many.
Sultana Point
A beautiful white sandy beach awaits you at Sultana Point which is located just around the corner from Edithburgh. It's a small quiet beachside settlement with all of Edithburgh’s amenities a stone’s throw away. This beach is a great spot to take the kids, go for long beach walks, or just set up your beach umbrella, deck chairs and relax the day away.
Marion Bay
Offering captivating scenery, Marion Bay is the gateway to Innes National Park. Beautiful beaches, great fishing - jetty, boat or beach, surfing, exploring Innes and the coast - a great base for bisiting the ‘bottom end’.
Pondalowie Bay (within Innes National Park)
Located within the national park, ‘Pondie’ is the crayfishing hub the Yorke Peninsula. It has a fantastic scenic beach in a sheltered cove. Explore the national park with other magnificent swimming and surfing beaches nearby.
Coobowie
A quiet seaside town which some say it is ‘Yorke Peninsula’s Best Kept Secret’! The beach consists of a mixture of sand, shells and rock and is popular for fishing off the beach. The local pub, the town’s peacefulness and foreshore playground make Coobowie a holiday destination worth considering.
Edithburgh
Becoming increasingly popular with tourists, Edithburgh is a historic seaside town with a jetty that was once one of the busiest ports in the state. The main jetty now is popular for fishing, swimming and scuba diving in the nearby reef. Edithburgh is an attractive town with a brand new playground and trendy cafes.
Corny Point
At the tip of the Yorke Peninsula, Corny Point is situated with its historic lighthouse still in use for guidance to ships today. Corny Point is an ideal holiday destination and boasts a magnificent white sandy beach with some of the state’s best surfing beaches nearby.
The Pines & Couches Beach
While unknown to many, it is unspoilt, scenic and definitely worth considering. If you haven’t been to The Pines before, you will be pleasantly surprised to this small seaside settlement only a short distance to Corny Point.
Point Souttar
A short scenic drive from Point Turton, Point Souttar is arguably one of the best beaches on the Yorke Peninsula. With a strip of cliff top properties set above a pristine white sandy beach and sheltered by the surrounding rugged coastline, Point Souttar is becoming increasingly popular and rightly so. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to holiday at Point Souttar!
Port Moorowie
Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the rugged coastline with views to Kangaroo Island here at Port Moorowie; a quiet area, unspoilt and unknown. The sandy beach is great for swimming, body surfing, fishing and spending the day with the children.
Point Turton
A thriving seaside town with all-weather, all-tide boat launching facilities. Point Turton has grown substantially in the last few years. It has a great jetty and swimming centre, Tavern and is a great location for exploring the ‘bottom end’.
Port Rickaby
A quiet seaside town only 10 minutes from Minlaton and is a great place to get away from the city life. Lovely white sandy beach, jetty, local store at caravan park.
Minlaton
The business centre of Central Yorke Peninsula, it has it’s own attractions such as a 1916 Bristol Monoplane, known as ‘The Red Devil’, a fauna reserve with Emus, Kangaroos and Wallabies and has a fantastic tourist information centre, ‘Harvest Corner’ that is definitely worth a visit.
Yorketown
We like to consider Yorketown the business and shopping centre of the Southern Yorke Peninsula. It has excellent services and is the place to come for supplies when visiting the surrounding area.
Hardwicke Bay
Once a small fishermen’s village, Hardwicke Bay has now grown to become a wonderful family beachside holiday location. It has a magnificent beach and is popular not only for swimming and fishing but also windsurfing and yachting. Hardwicke Bay is also just a stones throw from the famous Flaherty's Beach.
